Design Features
- Bolted Body – Bonnet Joint.
- Stem threads are outside the pressure containing parts & never come in contact with the working fluid thus avoiding corrosion of threads.
- Back seating arrangement permits the replacement of gland packing in fully open position while the Valve is under inline pressure.
- Straight through flow resulting in least possible pressure drop across the Valve
- Sturdy spoked handwheel clear from the top of yoke is provided for operation of the Valve.
- Ample depth of Stuffing Box.
- Wedge guided in the body throughout its travel & contacts the body seats only at the point of closure.
Certification
IBR Test Certificate in FORM III-C duly signed by the Director of Boilers, Punjab is provided for Valves to be used on steam service.
For liquid service our own Works Test Certificate shall be issued.
